Portrait photography is basically about two things, relationships and technique. And this photo shoot was definitely about both. It was a great opportunity to hang out with our old friends Amanda and Ella again, and it was a chance to get to some gritty locations and try out some portrait lighting techniques.

We love wedding photography. Partially because we can get beautiful, emotional portraits like the one below. And partially because we get to meet a lot of interesting people, and get caught up in the momentum of the day. And Dave and Linda’s wedding day was an experience to remember!
Mrs. J – then only Ms. J – is one of our fondest memories of boudoir photography. We ran around her house from kitchen to garage incorporating things that were most important to her and her fiancé.
Jesan and I share a special bond – we both sing opera. Of course Jesan is making a living singing gorgeous songs and we were just happy to help with her publicity by giving her some glamorous portraits.
We love it when we get the opportunity to do portrait photography for clients with a fashion edge. It gives us a chance to be creative, and gives the client a more unique, and more dramatic set of photographs.
