Tory and Annie are small business owners, film makers, and parents. They own and operate Red Orchid Productions, a Kearney, Nebraska based film production studio, where they create beautiful short films for weddings and commercial applications. (In fact, we have an interview with them on the subject of wedding film making, coming in the next few days). They have a beautiful young family, and a very busy schedule – which doesn’t always add up to a great recipe for beautiful family portraits. So, we were happy to have the opportunity to take them outside for a quick and genuine family photography session.
Portrait photography for families on the go…
Beautiful, custom portrait photography sessions don’t have to be a big complicated mess. They can be natural and fun! With Tory and Annie, along with their beautiful kids and dog, we did a natural sunny photoshoot based around the family taking a walk. We walked down a tree-lined path, and whenever we saw a pretty patch of sun or flowers, we would stop, and the kids would play, and we would make some beautiful photographs. Nothing could have been more relaxed and easy. Even the kids had fun!
